Can I set up Open Graph image just once for all pages?

It’s impossible to set up Open Graph globally for all pages in one place natively. Besides, strategically, it’s better not to use a single Open Graph image for all pages because each page often has unique content and purpose. Using specific images for each page enhances user engagement and improves social media sharing by making the shared content more relevant and visually appealing.

For static pages, you need to add a link to the location where the Open Graph image is stored. Typically, you can easily retrieve this from the Assets pane where you upload images. For custom Open Graph images on dynamic pages (such as collection pages), you need to upload the Open Graph image to the collection in a separate field. The developer will create this field for you and connect it to the Open Graph settings.

You can set a universal Open Graph image for all items in a collection by adding a code snippet to the <head> section of the collection template page. Ensure that the Open Graph image setting is left unset to avoid conflicts.
